Jordan is a small yet stable country located on the east bank of the Jordan River and bordered by Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Palestine. Jordan’s modest population boasts a harmony of religions and cultures, liberal social values, and bilingual language skills (Arabic and English). The Private Hospitals Association (PHA) is a private, voluntary, non-profit organization established in 1984 representing private hospital interests in Jordan. PHA membership includes 42 independent private hospitals and medical centers in Jordan and is structured as a trade association.

PHA has a significant role and value chain initiative in promoting medical tourism in Jordan and in developing a market that has extensive potentials by promoting its state of the art private hospitals and medical centers that are internationally accredited, adopting international quality standards equipped with cutting edged latest medical equipments and technologies.
